Additional safety instructions and working advice
- Before any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change, etc.) as well as during transport and storage, set the rotational direction switch to the middle position. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
- If the application tool should become blocked, switch the power tool off. Loosen the application tool.
- Switching on when the drilling tool is blocked may cause high torque reactions.
- Avoid switching on the tool accidentally. Make sure that the on/off switch is set to the off position before inserting a battery. Accidents can occur as a result of carrying the power tool with your finger on the on/off switch or inserting the battery while the power tool is switched on.
- Read and strictly observe the safety instructions in the operating instructions of the cordless drill/driver.
- Always make sure that you maintain a safe distance. When operating the power tool in high up areas, e.g. on a ladder, ensure that no one is beneath you.
- Never touch the application tool or parts of the power tool near to the application tool after use; these may be extremely hot. There is a risk of burns.
