Maintenance and Cleaning

Only store and transport the measuring tool in a suitable container, such as the original packaging.

Keep the measuring tool clean at all times. A dirty infrared sensor (24) may impair the measuring accuracy.

When cleaning the measuring tool, ensure that no liquids enter the tool.

Do not attempt to remove dirt from the infrared sensor (24), camera (25), speaker (19) or microphone (16) using sharp objects. Do not wipe over the infrared sensor and camera (risk of scratching).

Please contact an authorised Bosch after-sales service centre if you want to have your measuring tool recalibrated.

If repairs are required, send in the measuring tool in its original packaging.

There are no parts which can be serviced by the user on the measuring tool. Opening the housing shell can destroy the measuring tool.

Unscrew the screw (5) on the coin cell holder. Lift the coin cell holder (3) out of the measuring tool with an auxiliary tool (e.g. a flat-head screwdriver). Change the coin cell. Retighten the screw (5) after inserting the coin cell holder.
