User interface

The user interface (9) is used to select the working mode and to indicate the status of the power tool.

Status indicators

Meaning/cause

Power tool is switched off

Green

Power tool is switched on and ready to use

Yellow

Critical temperature of electronics reached.
The power of the power tool is throttled in order to prevent damage.

Run the power tool at no load and allow it to cool down until the indicator (14) lights up green again

Yellow

  • In combination with flashing maintenance indicator (12)

Regular power tool maintenance due

Switch off the power tool immediately and send it to the after-sales service.
If the maintenance is not carried out, the power tool may become damaged or fail.

Red

Power tool has overheated.
The power tool is switched off in order to prevent damage to the electronics.

Leave the power tool to cool down.
Only when the indicator (14) lights up green upon switching on is the power tool ready for use again.

Restart protection is triggered.
The power tool is prevented from starting up again following a power outage (e.g. if the mains plug is removed during operation) in order to prevent injuries.

Switch off the power tool and restore the power supply. Then switch the power tool on again.

Lock-on button pressed in "hammer drilling" operating mode

Press the lock-on button again

Rotation stop switch activated during operation

Turn the power tool off and on again

General error

  • Turn the power tool off and on again
  • Disconnect the power tool from the power supply and reconnect it

If the error persists:

  • Send the power tool to the after-sales service

Flashing red

  • In combination with the lit rapid shut-off indicator (13)

Rapid shut-off is triggered.

Press the lock-on button and release the on/off switch

The maintenance indicator (12) goes out as soon as the maintenance has been carried out.

Pressing and holding the reset button (15) for just 5 seconds can reset the notification for regular maintenance.

Selecting the working mode

Press the (16) button for selecting the working mode repeatedly until the working mode you require lights up.
